How much water should I drink while taking two Prilosec OTC pills daily in the morning?

My doctor told me to take two Prilosec every morning (twice the regular dose) for gastritis. The Prilosec box says to take with "plenty of water", and that’s for one pill. How much water should I take them with for maximum absorption and effectiveness?
I currently take it with about 4/5 of a standard bottle of water.

a large glass of water would do just fine i have been taking prilosec for years and never had a problem
