What does it mean when a real estate agent list "rural water has been installed"?
Does that mean a well has been drilled already or what? And if electricity is at the road does that mean electricity can be moved from those power lines into your property by the elect. company?
the water part means that the property is serviced by a rural water district, not city water. Either the line runs at the front of the property and can be hooked onto with a meter added, or that there is already service available at the home site.
The power company will run a line from the existing lines to your home site. There may be a charge for this depending on how far they have to run the lines.
