Living with a well and a septic system I find this question a good one.
Don’t put your well and septic tank within 100 yards of each other.
Use caution when using
Insecticides
pesticides
fertilizer
oil
gas
or anything that will sink into the ground and contaminate the water below.
Make sure you have proper field drain for septic system.

never build your outhouse- or put your septic tank above your water supply. > Put giardia filters on your water system. Have your water system checked by the state. or a lab. that is qualified to check for mercury or other contaminates. I live in Alaska and get my water from rain gutters off the roof. I have water filtration systems also. If I had any cause to think there was a prob. I would use "Clorox". NOT THE NEW KIND- The real thing. in my water tank. I used to get my water out of a stream by the house. I used some Hallogen tablets or boild it. Rain water tastes better. and you have no turbitity. Stay well!!!

2;Dont urinate or excrete faeces into water.
3; Dont wash clothes in water.

Don’t throw trash in the river.
Don’t dig a water supply near to a dumping area.
Don’t block up the source of the water supply

why do you move to near a farm in 1st place ?

you know

presticide, cows dung and other will be use oftenly.

move back to the housing project.

Don’t dump antifreeze and motor oil on the ground.
Don’t allow manure runoff to enter water ways.
Have unused wells capped, and wells in use covered so that contaminates cannot fall in.

make sure fertilizers down go down the sewer into the ocean. dont throw trash in the street
