That is not a federal issue. They need to buy a filter. Many of us would rather have the well water than pay a city or county for it.

That would depend on the depth of the aquifer and the type of sediment which the water filters through to get to the aquifer.

Why the thumbs down? Where I live we buy land with water rights because rural water is very expensive, it can be a very important issue when buying property.

It’s an important issue, but not of pressing need in a general election. Iraq, illegal aliens, the economy, and health care are what people care about most right now. That’s more of an issue for your senator or local congressperson.
