can any one compare the urban and rural treatments of water after it is used in the home.?

help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my septic tank gravity and microbes (I add some once a month) separate, cleanse, and desove the waste solids. The liquids are distributed into the soil to filter into the environment hopefully IT helps replenish the water table.
My local city’s treatment plant uses a sediment tank, multiple microbe tanks and additionally airolate the liquids to do the same thing all the while monitoring the levels of bacteria until the clean water can be reused in industry (like electric genation) the dry solids I think go to the city’s lined land-fill.
