		<description>I think any comparison between water usage in the United States and water usage in developing countries would be a great attention getter.

For example: &#34;Each flush of the toilet uses the same amount of water that one person in the Third World uses all day for washing, cleaning, cooking and drinking.&#34;

That is 2.5 gallons.

Another great fact: If you run the water while brushing your teeth, you will use 5 gallons. That would be enough water for two people in a developing country for a day.
