Whats a good attention getter for a speech on Water conservation?

Any ideas?

I think any comparison between water usage in the United States and water usage in developing countries would be a great attention getter.

For example: "Each flush of the toilet uses the same amount of water that one person in the Third World uses all day for washing, cleaning, cooking and drinking."

That is 2.5 gallons.

Another great fact: If you run the water while brushing your teeth, you will use 5 gallons. That would be enough water for two people in a developing country for a day.

Hope this helps.
