What are the obstacles to water conservation in agricultural farms?

Like work and cost.. that sorta stuff

  1. the obstacles are many depending on the type of soil or soil profile, availability of H2O, water content for farm use (not filled with iron- you have to treat your water in order to give out as the grown plant requires). the cost depends on the place hilly or sloopy, if water aquifer is closer to top soil, streams, rivers, then u consider transporting it the required locaiton, so many depending on were ur farm is sited.
