The White House made deep cuts in written testimony given to a Senate committee this week by the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on health risks posed by global warming, but the director agreed yesterday with administration officials who said the cuts were part of a normal review process and not aimed at minimizing the issue.

I think she’s covering up for the Bush Admin. Just look at the stuff that was cut out.

"While reviewing Gerberding’s testimony, the White House Office of Management and Budget cut out seven pages, about half, of the testimony. The removed sections include information on extreme weather events and food and water-borne disease, among other things."

"By comparing the two versions, you can find that with one long highlight and one stroke of the ‘Delete" button, OMB removed pages 2-8 in their entirety."
