I agree with you that the environment is an important issue, not necessarily the most important, but granted it is an issue of significance.

There is data that indicates there is a trend of increasing temperatures and increased polar ice caps melting, but you seem to think that there's undisputed
evidence that indicates that global warming is an undoubted fact. Global warming is a theory, one of several, that offer explanations as to why there is an increase in temperatures. Sure, global warming may in fact have some credibility to it, and eviromental awareness is an important issue, but it's difficult to evaluate what would be the most important issue given that it would change depending on a person's values.

People are going to differ on what is the most important issue. For some, like you, it is global warming, others it would be the world economy, for some it would be to settle wars and suffering in third world countries, and then for some it would be spreading the message of their religion. What is the most important issue will vary with someones perspective.

In relation to global warming, it is important to realize that there are some facts to it, and then there is propganda aspects as well. Some of these facts would be the data that clearly demonstrates that the polar ice caps have been melting and continue to do so for some reason that is not completley clear (perhaps it's human cause, or perhaps it is the same trend the earth has been going through for millions of years). The propganda aspect would be when a maganize publishes a picture of a drought with a dead carcus of an animal in the center and blame that on gloabl warming. Either way, human beings, as custodians of the world, should take responsibility to ensure that the future generations have the same quality of life, and better, of what people are currently used to. But they also should understand the difference of a scientifitic theory (global warming) and that the world enviroment is in serious jeopardy (propganda).

Air quality: LA has had horrible air quality since the 1920's, same goes for NY, and any other major city in the world where industry and facotires were located.
References :
I don't believe it is human caused. It is a natural trend of the earth.

Did you know that as the north pole is melting the south pole is getting colder. There is climate change but it is just changing places. Eventually Alaska will be warm and Australia will be colder.
Do your research. There is a huge research station at the south pole gathering this info.

The global warming craze is a lie to make money. It amazes me that a person can get a Nobel prize for something that is not proven. It will take decades maybe centuries to prove.
