Why is Environmental Awareness and Sustainability important for Interior Designers?

And how does it affect them and their designs?

Because those topics are fashionable and interior designers have to be aware of fashion.

Some customers want to follow fashion; some customers would hate to be thought of as following fashion. Either way, the designer needs to know fashion.

Otherwise, it wouldn’t be important at all.
